How we treat your information
We will never spam you.
If you choose so, we may use your e-mail address to inform you about site updates, planned maintenances, and send you personal progress reports and our cultural newsletter.
If you do not wish to receive any of these, you can of course turn them off.
We will never disclose your personal information without your permission.
We will never sell, rent or share your personal information with a 3rd party, without your express permission, unless required by law. Never ever.
We give you full control over your information, including the ability to wipe it from our system.
You can update your account information and preferences at any time. You can destroy your account when you choose. Details on what happens when accounts are destroyed can be found here.
What information do we collect?
Personal: Username, email address, password
In order to verify that you are a real user—not a robot—we require you to provide an e-mail address. We’ll also use it if you’ll need to recover your password, or if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter (you can unsubscribe at any time).
We encrypt all passwords before storing them—not even we can tell what they are! If you lose your password, we will generate a new one and send it to you by e-mail. Again, no employee of EduLift Limited will have access to the password.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.
Usage: Lesson progress, activity and error logs
In order to provide you with helpful statistics, assess your level, and suggest what to learn next, we store information about how many and which lessons, characters and vocabulary you have learned already.
Error logs are anonymous reports automatically generated whenever something breaks during your visit. We use them to improve the stability and overall quality of the service.
Like many web sites, we use ‘cookies’ which are small text files stored in your web browser that enable us to track your return visits. Your browser may allow you to block these cookies, but we recommend you have them enabled to help us personalize your experience.
