Content
How many lessons are in the textbook?
It varies from language to language, but you’ll know the moment you start your trial. Japanese LinguaLift has over 25 chapters of our E-Textbook, each containing around ten lessons, which will each take you one to two hours to fully complete. We add a new chapter each month.
I study with a teacher. Is this website for me?
Even if you are a student learning languages at high school or university and following a regular textbook, there is still a lot of useful content for you to discover at LinguaLift. Although our E-Textbook is perfectly suited to self-learners, it can also serve as a great revision aid, consolidating what you have done in class, and extending your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary and sentence structure.
Do you teach the real language?
The language we teach is as real as you’d find natives talking. The E-Textbook is jam-packed with native audio recordings of real-world sentences, and the Kanji Academy focuses on the Chinese characters that are used on a day-to-day basis in Japan. Our Vocab Lab, with over 10,000 hand-picked vocabulary entries ensures that your vocabulary is lucid and varied—just like a native.

Why am I receiving a "The transaction was declined. Please use a different card or contact your bank." error when paying?
The error indicates that your bank has declined the transaction. Check the expire date, number on card, name on card and security code. You also need to make sure the billing address matches your card's billing address. Once you have checked all this, try again.
You may also get this error if you have insufficient funds on your bank account, if the PayPal payment gateway has been blocked on your bank account (companies often do this to keep employees from charging stuff from internet stores on their corporate account), or if your credit or debit card is not authorized for international transactions.
